Tunturinlaita A1 sits at the edge of the Levi ski area. The groomed cross-country track runs five metres from the terrace, where a ski rack holds your cross-country gear: step out, click in, ski. The nearest downhill slope is 150 m away, the Glacier Express chairlift 250 m, and the centre of Levi with its restaurants, shops and ski school is a five-minute walk. The covered carport has a power socket and a wooden box for ski boots and helmets right beside the parking space, and opens directly onto the sheltered entrance hall with stairs and a lift. The apartment is on the ground floor. Inside, a drying cabinet takes boots, gloves and base layers overnight – wet gear stays out of the living space. The 53 m² apartment sleeps five in two separate bedrooms with doors – a king-size double bed in one, two single beds in the other – plus a sofa bed in the living room. With a bathroom and a second, separate WC, five people get through the morning without queueing. A wood-burning stove with a glass door heats the living area, and there is underfloor heating in every room. The covered terrace looks towards Levitunturi: from here you see the top station of the Front Slope chairlift, the Panorama Hotel and the Glacier Express. It has a hanging chair, an infrared heater, a table and seating for four, and a firewood box for the stove. On clear autumn and winter nights the northern lights are regularly visible from it – the aurora photo in this listing was taken from this terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped: oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, crockery and cookware, plus both a Nespresso machine and a filter coffee maker. There is a washing machine, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a Bluetooth stereo system with CD player, and the apartment has its own Finnish sauna. Built in 2015, energy class B, revitalised and refurbished in 2026. Bed linen and towels are available for an additional fee. Kittilä Airport is 12 km away, about 15 minutes by car or airport bus

Secure your trip with cancellation insurance

For example, if the participant or their close relative suddenly falls ill, passes away, or is injured due to an accident, or if public transportation used to reach the accommodation does not operate according to the schedule announced in advance by the transport provider.
